SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO’S PREMIER MUSIC, FOOD, AND WINE EVENT

THE LINE-UP

The musical line-up for MissionFest 2022 will be headlined by CHASE RICE.

CHASE RICE

With more than 2.2 million albums sold and over 2.1 billion total streams, plus a legion of passionate fans at his high-energy concerts across the globe, Chase Rice has established himself as a powerful force in Nashville and beyond – yet he genuinely sees current single “If I Were Rock & Roll,” available everywhere now, as the launching pad for music that says what he wants to say, how he wants to say it.

The song serves as a follow up to his three-part project, featuring his latest No. 1 hit, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Lonely If You Are.”

This is the same gravelly-voiced Chase Rice fans first fell in love with years ago – but better. Freer. Unbeholden and uninhibited, somehow capable of evoking Chris LeDoux and The Chronic, campfire singalongs and stadium anthems, all at once.

The new music builds upon the success of his sophomore album, which featured the Double-Platinum, two-week chart topper “Eyes On You” – Rice’s first No. 1 as an artist and the most-streamed song of his career. Lambs & Lions followed, which debuted at No. 1 onBillboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, producing a pair of Top 5 hits; “Ready Set Roll” and “Gonna Wanna Tonight.”

In addition to selling out arenas with Kane Brown and stadiums with Kenny Chesney, Rice also opened for Garth Brooks to 70K+ at Detroit’s Ford Field in early 2020 and has consistently sold out 3,000+ seat venues on his own headlining tours.

BRELAND

Breland is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer of country rap, R&B, gospel, and soul music.

He rose into prominence in 2019 when he released his debut single “My Truck” and he became popular on Social Media following the success of the track.

Breland began his career as a professional songwriter while at Georgetown, and in his second year, he met rapper Chinx (Chinx Drugz), an associate of French Montana. O

He taught himself how to engineer on Pro Tools, Logic Pro, and FL Studio. With approximately 2,000 songs in three years, he made placements with artists such as Trey Songz and wrote nearly half of the tracks on The Golden Child, the debut from Def Jam Recordings R&B artist YK Osiris.

In September 2019, he wrote the song, “My Truck”, about the truck culture found in rural America. The music was a blend of hip hop and country music and when he posted the song on Instagram, he received a great response and realized he had found his niche in the country-trap genre.

He was signed to Bad Realm Records/Atlantic Records, Breland signed with SALXCO Management, and released a remix of “My Truck” that features country music, Sam Hunt.

“My Truck” has over 2.6 million U.S. streams, 2,000 downloads sold, and 2.8 million radio audience impressions, according to Nielsen Audio, and hit No. 1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 Chart in February.

In May 2020, Breland’s self-titled EP was released by Bad Realm Records/Atlantic Records. The music crossed genres of country, hip hop, R&B and pop with songs like the singles, “My Truck”, and “Horseride,” as well as fan favorites “Hot Sauce” and “In the Woulds.”

Producers included Sam Sumser (Lizzo, Jason Derulo), Sean Small (Lizzo, Usher), Charlie Handsome (Post Malone, Kanye West, Khalid) as well as country singers Mitchell Tenpenny, and Walker Hayes. The EP charted at No. 48 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

He and Keith Urban co-wrote two songs for Urban’s September 2020 album, The Speed of Now Part 1, including the song “Out the Cage” which has Breland adding vocals, and Nile Rodgers’s on rhythm guitar, and the track “Soul Food”

In September 2020, Breland joined Apple Music Country as an on-air host for his own radio show called Land of the Bre.

Breland released a brand new collaboration with Thomas Rhett “Praise the Lord” in March 2022.

ERNEST

Nashville’s most unpredictable hit maker ERNEST is “The Charmer” (MusicRow), a triple threat talent and one of Music City’s on the rise artist/writers that’s changing the status quo.

As a chart-topping songwriter, he fuses influences ranging from Eminem to George Jones, creating a twist-heavy verse style that’s become his signature, proving its mettle, and earning him five #1 hits to date.

The eccentric free spirit launched his debut single to country radio “Flower Shops” feat. Morgan Wallen in January to 88 first week stations, the #1 most added single of the week, and was Top 25 after just six weeks. His debut full-length album of the same name – FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM) – is out now, showing off the more classically country side of his craft. ERNEST appeared alongside 90s country legend David Lee Murphy and labelmate Ben Burgess on HIXTAPE: Vol. 2 track “Red Dirt Clouds” last fall, and his podcast Just Being ERNEST is in its third season, hosting guests like Keith Urban, Diplo, Jason Aldean, Bobby Bones, and Craig Wiseman, with many more to come.

BAILEY ZIMMERMAN

Bailey Zimmerman is a twenty one year old singer/songwriter born and raised in the small town of Louisville, IL.

Growing up, Zimmerman’s father owned a trucking business and the two of them would listen to hour after hour of country radio on long hauls across state lines.

Back at home, Bailey’s mom instilled in him a life-long appreciation for the power chords and edgy vocals of 80’s hair rock.

At the age of sixteen, Zimmerman got his first job at the local meat processing plant and hasn’t stopped working since. From long hours on the gas pipeline, to late nights of backbreaking roadwork, Bailey embodies the old school American values of a hard work and dependability. Zimmerman applies the same steadfast mentality to his music.

Through his plainspoken charm, contagious enthusiasm and genuine portrayal of life on the back roads, Bailey has amassed a following of over three hundred thousand loyal tik tok fans.

His breakout single “Never Comin’ Home” was characterized by the straightforward authenticity for which he is known and loved. His second release “Small Town Crazy” is a hometown tribute, summer anthem and drinking song, delivered in the grit and gravel of Zimmerman’s unmistakably Southern drawl.

Bailey is co-managed by Simon Tikhman/Chief Zaruk of The Core Entertainment and Chris Nilsson/Scott Frazier of 10th St Entertainment
